Just wanted to say thanks to everyone
I sent the letter which got us a phonecall from the LL. They said the house had been left in perfect condition.
A cheque arrived for the full amount this morning.
That's all I wanted really.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

That's what we worked out too, on this thread and from the links in it.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=675601&page=3RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
