If you are in the Sandhurst Berkshire area I have a Gym ball going free- I used it when I was in labour (for all of 3 minutes). BUT I found it to be the most comfortable thing to sit on after the birth (think grazes
)
Any takers, give me a pm!"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye."...Miss piggy0 -
If you're not using for exercise then it doesn't matter as much you can just inflate a bigger ball slightly less if you have short legs (the sized balls are usually more expensive) and sizing should be based on leg length more than height.t_obermory wrote: »The other thing is that its important to get the right size ball for your height there's a site here that gives you the guidelines.
I used my fit ball a lot when pregnant and still use it now with my LO to bounce on with him in my arms - he loves it

I had a gym ball too, it really helped late on in pregnancy for easing my back-ache!:D0

i had two exercise balls last year - both from ebay for a few quid each.
1st one was discovered deflated 3 days after we bought it - don't know if the children did anything to it :rolleyes:
2nd one was fine and i hung onto it for deal life as i delivered my 9lb6oz DD (with her arm sticking up next to her ear) on the dining room floor last year :rotfl: it was fantastic.0 -
If you are having a hospital birth, these will be provided by the L/suite. To prevent it rolling around, they usually have a contraption for it to be placed inside, therefore it will not roll.0

sorry may be TMI ...but when I was in labour I used a birthing ball ,
Fantastic through each contraction till it was time to go ito birthing pool ,I stood up and ball was firmly stuck to backside.
ARGH remember to put sheet or towel over it before sitting on for long time0
