My post seems to have been dodgey for a few months. Particularly annoyed about my bf's bday in Jan, half of the cards ppl sent never turned up and half of those had some money in so we've told ppl not to send money anymore etc
We have a different postie every day it seems, alot of temps, never seen the same 1 twice and they aren't wearing official uniforms etc.
Signed up to this site so it will be very interesting to see how it goes, thanks0 -
er... what am i going to do, ask him??? cos he's really going to admit to it isnt he..."oh yes i am stealing your post... lovely freebies, thanks for those"
i'm not saying he DEFINITELY is anyway, but I used to receive a lot of the freebies I sent for, until we got a new postie and they stopped... he also has the most awful attitude, when I've spoken to him its as much as he can do to form the corners of his mouth into a smile. He is so grumpy and rude when I am polite to him, which is not what I call great service. My previous posties have been lovely and so friendly, so I haven't got anything against Royal Mail, just people who can't (or wont) do their job properly. It costs nothing to smile and be polite.
Anyway, this post isn't about my antagonising postman, but about making Royal Mail better as a whole, as they obviously recognise its a problem and are willing to improve.
er.... ring up royal mail and tell them that you are convinced (your words) that your postie is nicking your freebies and ask them to investigate itIf you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.0 -
er, yar, i am convinced, thats why i'm joining this survey, i'm not going to accuse him to his employers when i can go undercover and find out for sure!!! thanks for your concern though0

ooh good one. I have joined up to this!
I don't think my postperson is dishonest, but I do know that some of my mail doesn't ever arrive!
Ironically I complained a little while ago to Royal Mail about an item that was never delivered for work and we received 12 first class stamps in the post today and a letter of apology!Indecision is the key to flexibility0 -

But I will definitely look into this, I too am suspicious about the postal service we are getting at our flat.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Be careful of this one, as they tend to drop you without even letting you know.
I had been doing it for agesss, then stop getting my pack every week with stuff to send, then didn't get my stamps, but i was still receiving items through the post.
I gave it a few of weeks as it was around xmas time, so thought the delay in my stamps and packs mite be the xmas post, then decided to give them a ring, they said "oh, we dont need people in your area anymore, weren't you told?" "you won't recieve anymore stamps, but could you still log all incoming post and post it back to us"
So basically they still want me to take incoming post, log it and send it back, but not get anything for it
urmmmmmmm how about no :rotfl:
so just be warned, if you don't receive your pack or stamps, then its best to ring and query it, as they seem to change the postcode areas of where they want to survey from time to time and lay people off.0 -
You can always count on some holier-than-thou person with more time than most to point out the errors other posters make and put others off posting at all.
Thanks to the OP - I had not seen this elsewhere.Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -
Really interested in this one as we have probs wit our postie. I dont think he steals, but he does post a lot of our stuff elsewhere as it turns up with a big biro circle around it sometimes. Other times - wage slips, concert tickets etc have gone astray. We have reported him loads, but nothing seems to be done about it. We often get post for our neighbours and the address's are not wrong, and we get them for people in other streets too.0

Thanks for the link, on reading the link I noticed I am already signed up with most of them and have been for quite a few years. I signed up for a couple of new ones. As for the Royal Mail one I am having to unsubscribe from them as I have been with them for about two or so months and two weeks ago I had major problems logging in to my account as it just would not sign my details in to access anything. I repeatedly emailed and phoned them and am still getting nowhere fast. I have two weeks worth of mail building up and no way of finding out which smarts to send out and which I need to return. I sent my final email to them yesterday and if I have not heard from them by end of week I will return all the stuff and explain to them. It's a shame really as I enjoyed this one as I work shift work so all the mail went out on time, even the ones before 10am. I am still receiving mail from other users and from Royal Mail itself.Que Sera Sera & C'est la vie :A0
