Excellent, glad to be of help.
The way i see it, the more people who sign up and report back accurately to Royal Mail, the more efficient of a postal service we will all have, which can never be a bad thing. :j0 -
This is great - I've missed some post too; got a card in an envelope saying it had been 'damaged' when it had clearly been opened down one edge to see if there was money in it! have signed up, thank you!I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

...or at least I hope so!!
Found this on one of those sites which tells you all the best survey companies (http://www.whichsurveys.com if you're interested, but thats in another thread) and anyway I've signed up to this: https://rmselfrecruit.research-int.com/Questionnaire/qstIntroductionPrivate.aspx - can't see this particular one posted up anywhere on the forum unless it was a while back...?
Anyway, it looks like its basically a way to help Royal Mail check that their posties are actually delivering stuff - will be interesting for me as well, as I'm convinced my postie nicks all my freebies cos most of them don't show up! As far as I can tell, Royal Mail sends out tester mails to the address you provide and all you have to do is sign in to the website and tell them when said mail arrived, so they can see if the posties are doing their job. You also have to post out testers as well - they provide you with the necessary equipment for this at no cost (ie sending address, envelopes etc) You just have to fill out a short survey (above page links to it) so they can see if you're right for the panel I suppose.
On top of this, as the link says in point 2 - You will receive 18 first class stamps every month as a thank you for your involvement, as well as entry into daily prize draws.
A day or two after signing up I have received an email from them telling me they will be sending out my instruction pack shortly, and it all seems legit. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I can always do with stamps and it doesn't look like this will take up much time, also if it helps my rude, annoying postie get the sack I'm all for itsorry bit evil but he is rubbish.
If anyone is currently taking part in this, or has in the past, it'd be good to know what you thought, and for those like me who haven't seen it til now, maybe its something you'll be interested in.
Perhaps it might be better to try and find out if the postie is ACTUALLY stealing any of your items before you lynch him/herIf you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.0 -

er... what am i going to do, ask him??? cos he's really going to admit to it isnt he..."oh yes i am stealing your post... lovely freebies, thanks for those"
i'm not saying he DEFINITELY is anyway, but I used to receive a lot of the freebies I sent for, until we got a new postie and they stopped... he also has the most awful attitude, when I've spoken to him its as much as he can do to form the corners of his mouth into a smile. He is so grumpy and rude when I am polite to him, which is not what I call great service. My previous posties have been lovely and so friendly, so I haven't got anything against Royal Mail, just people who can't (or wont) do their job properly. It costs nothing to smile and be polite.
Anyway, this post isn't about my antagonising postman, but about making Royal Mail better as a whole, as they obviously recognise its a problem and are willing to improve.0 -
I have been doing this for a while. they send me a pack every week with everything I need and have to send and receive test mail. I usually send between 3 and 6 letters a week and receive between 3 and 10. When you receive a test letter you complete a few quick questions on-line and you do the same when you send one. You then post all the test mail you receive back to them at the end of the week. They then send you 18 first class stamps every month for doing it and you are entered into a daily and monthly draw.0
