Pension Credit

Can my mother claim pension credit whilst she is living with my two other brothers? One is working f/t other is disabled. Thanks. She is in receipt of only her state pension about 3k savings. thanks. she is over 60 and is a widow

    "EntitledTo does not currently have a facility to calculate non-dependent deductions or second adult rebate and so we are unable to calculate your benefit entitlement."

    The best thing to do would be to apply anyway - they can only say 'no', and it's possible they may say 'yes'.

    Look at the Pension Service's website: https://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk

    They are very keen that everyone should apply if it looks at all likely that they could be eligible.

    Alternatively, the Pension Service is running drop-in sessions all over the country - ask at your local CAB or local authority information centre.
