Hello MSE compers!

I've been a MSEr for year or so and don't post too much but am on the ol comping forum every day, entering comps, getting the chat etc.

Only prob is, I've been comping pretty much solid for about 8 months or so, and have won diddle all!

I appreciate that a)I don't enter as much as many folk here do (about 150-200 per week, but I try to only enter for stuff I really want) and b)lots of people say hang in there, it'll come eventually, but I'm losing hope! Thinkin about giving up and saving myself the time and bother and just wanted to see if you lot felt like that at the start and how long you went without a win at the start?

On a related note, I think I'm losing heart recently as I'm entering all the comps ending tomorrow, and I kinda know by a week after entering that I must not have won!

I am going to say what you're expecting - but you do have to have patience i'm afraid! I'm having a bad month so far (1 dvd) and I get frustrated when the postman walks past but theres always tomorrow! I enter approx 100 per day but that doesn't necessarily mean I will win more than someone who doesn't enter that many, it is pure luck.
Also, if you read some t&c's, companies say they will notify the winner/s within 28 days so you could still win something from a comp that closed more than 3 weeks ago.
I sometimes feel like giving up but its my hobby while i'm stuck at home day and night with my youngest(2), plus I enjoy being part of this 'community'!

Hi littleholly cheers for that. Yeah I think the norm for regular winners is about 100 per day, but I'm stuck in a quandry over whether to just enter the ending tomorrow comps (easier to keep track of) or just batter through all the ones I can. Hmmmm. Will keep going another day!

Hello everybody, today is my 50th birthday so drinks on me, DD is taking me to lunch later and then meeting up with some friends but the party is next Saturday, mainly because I didnt want it this week as I want to get up and watch the Marathon on Sunday and didnt want to do that with a hangover.:D
