    How much

Surely it'd be safer to fly to India and get them youself from one of the markets than send that much money to someone through paypal?

Through dealing with India all day every day at work I wouldn't risk it, especially by paypal...

And yes, import duty, handling fees etc will be payable.

Do they specify whether they will be sent by sea or sent by air cargo/courier??

The $1100 figure is for 150 covers and 750 sashes inc shipping, which works out around £560.

They don`t specify shipping details, we will need to ask.
Which is best sea or air?

Sea will take ages, but air will be more expensive...

Sea you can pay half now and half when it gets to the port usually but i don't know how that will work with paypal & ebay:confused:

Where in India is it coming from?

Would probably be cheaper on fees etc to pay by western union or moneygram. But I don't know what paypal is like for international transactions so someone else may be able to help more

  • Thanks for the info.

    They are coming from Punjab?

    Thanks
  • It should be safe in general, but don't trust blindly, see the seller rating. Best if you can get someone bak in india to buy for u and send.

The only way to get any protection is to use paypal, but back it by a credit card. Do not use any other payment method as you have no recourse if your goods do not arrive.

I personally would not risk that sort of money toIndia unless I knew exactly who I was dealing with rather than an anonymous company advertising on any website, ebay or otherwise.

  • With your advice, I have decided not to purchase the items.

The seller sold 86 items and had a 99% feedback rating though!

    thanks
