in Credit cards
I currently have £2700 on a Halifax card ehich is 0% until June / July time. I pay off at least £100 per month usually a bit more. This is unlikely to change to a lesser amount but may go up. I won't use the card for speding. I have a good credit history so I don't *think* (famous last words! :rotfl: ) I'll have a problem with getting a new card.
I'm starting to think about switching it to a new card as I'm concerned about the CCCs upping rates and cancelling cards. Should I:
1) Transfer now to another 0% for 15 months (Virgin?)?
2) Sit tight and wait until nearer the time?
3) Transfer to a low APR card for 24 months (HSBC 2.9%)?
What would you suggest?

If it's £ 2700 now, will be £ 2500 in April. That's still leaving you a couple of months to shop around for a new card and you won't need quite as big a credit limit by then?
Whether a longer term LOB deal or a 12-15 month 0% for me would be down to the arithmetic on the transfer fees plus interest charged."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
