Hi Money Experts
I bought a new build flat in Camberley 3 years ago but have now moved to Coventry (about 150 miles). The flat is on rent and was bought from George Wimpey. I was wondering could I offer the flat to Taylor Wimpey (as it is now) as part exhange for something bigger in the Midlands?
Regards
Kully

You can offer it as part exchange to any developer but you're better selling it and buying a half decent pad in Coventry that you can choose from a wider selection. Hopefully you'll benefit from the difference in house prices. IF you part-ex you get burned at both ends of the deal.
Why Coventry?

Quite simply I was born and bred in the Midlands so have decided to move back! Reason why im asking for part ex through George Wimpey is because I believe I paid about 50k too much for a one bedder in GU17 and thought they have to (they don't have to anything i suppose) give me a part ex price similar to what i bought it for 3 years ago.0

Unfortunately not. They'll be even more cruel. And charge you too much for the next one while they're at it
Come and move West a bit. It's lovely
