As it does mine. I did say occasional good rates.

The two accounts I nabbed at 7% and 7.5% are no longer available, and I'm certainly not putting any new money their way.

As mentioned before, a benefit of having many bs accounts set up was in making it easier to satisfy I.D. requirements as existing customer/member or, occasionally, where existing membership allowed you to benefit from better products (presumably because B/socs were looking for extra cash but not extra customers) I was amused when Bucks (1 branch) referred in their annual newsletter to a 35% increase in membership in one year!

No information here about which use charitable assignments to prevent carpet bagging.

Also now Cheshire, Derbyshire and Dunfermline Building Society's are part of the Nationwide there's no point opening new accounts there.
