Saving a BBC iPlayer download

Hello,
I appeared in a BBC show earlier today and, having missed it, am now downloading it on BBC iPlayer. Is there anyway to save the video once it has been downloaded, to stop it from being deleted or 'expiring' in a weeks time?

Ask the shows producer to sent you a copy on dvd, you should find they can do that for you.0 -
im prety sure that if your in it, you can request BBC send you a copy.0
