in Credit cards
hi, i am not sure if i have got this in the right part but its to do with store cards.
I had a newlook account card which i had got way over the limit due to not having a job and being able to pay anything then now changed my jobs only being able to pay the minimum which only just covered the interest added. Over last month i have paid almost £100 off of it which means the total is now £289. I just got home from work and i have a letter from Ikano finacne who deal with them saying that they have reviewd my account and decided to close the accound without needing ant more payments from me and that it is based on the purchasees, payment hisroty and the outstanding balance. Cut up the card and will get no more letter etc from them.
Is this normal? i mean great i dont have to pay any more off of it, but is there a catch somewhere on the line? has this given me bad credit? do they normally just close accounts down like this?!
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

thankyou!!!
