Some have stocked up with Soap Powder and Juice for the next 12 months. Good on them. I'd have done the same if I had half the chance.

Totally agree.

I went to woolworths in ballamena today (sat) and got 12 bags between myself and me mother. Were loads left so plenty for others, as it was 4 pm so only an hour to go to coupon expire.

As for your ref' to Tesco coupons I ended up buyin 5 strips off Ebay for £2.09. Yeah they were makin money from nothin, but it still saved me a few quid.

Thanks to OP, thanks to everyone who only took the amount they really needed, and (tongue in cheek) thanks to everyone who took as many as they could. I tried 3 different Woolworths over the past few days with no luck, one SA said people were taking loads and they'd had to stop them in the end because of all the complaints. I wonder if those who got 12/20 bags or whatever would have been as disappointed as me if they'd found none left - but then I only hoped for one bag as part my g/daughter's Easter present. As I said, thanks a lot...

I'm really sorry you couldn't get your eggs. Lst week there was a thread on MSE to get free Lancs v Yorkshire Cricket tickets. 1000 to gie away. They had gone within a matter of hours, before I had the chance to get one. I live very close by and would have loved to have gone. Maybe I'll get a couple next time.

We have one Woolworths here and the eggs were removed due to greed of a few, so everybody missed out. Guess that Woolies won't do this again.

I can't see how it could be through the greed of a few. It says 1 bag per person. We have 5 people in our family who went in a 4 or 5 times. It isn't as if people were walking out with a couple of dozen of bags at a time.

If anyone really needs them (someone said they wanted them for a gift), they'll restock within a couple of days and they're £1 per bag. Or our Home Bargains sells them for 79p per bag. I understand that it's disappointing to have missed out (my search of 3 stores bore no fruits!), but another offer will be around soon. It's luck of the draw, and while I would have been very happy to have received these, anything that's free is a bonus! I'm not sure that it's worth falling out about.
