Which Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Hi there, I'm looking to get a relatively cheap wireless keyboard and mouse but one that has a pretty good range across a resonable size bedroom. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I purchased a Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000 and the range was terrible, not even 1 metre before it stopped working properly.
Any suggestions welcome.

I've got a MS 5000 and it's about 10ft. Logitech do one that claims 30ft.0

I've got a Logitech S510 which is also good for more than 10 ft.
The mouse doesn't seem to have quite the same range as the keyboard, and starts to get a bit jumpy above 10ft, but that may be because I've got 2 Logitech wireless trackballs in the room above.0
