Life insurance help needed

Hello,

I'm 28 married, have 2 children (aged 2 & 7)
Wife is same age and is a housewive
I earn after tax £1,029.00 a month
Have a mortgage of £46,000
Pay £320ish month on mortgage
Have no hard savings to fall back on

The question is what sort of insurance policies should I be looking at incase of Accident,Sickness & Unemployment.

I know it can vary depending on personal circumstances but what sort of things should I be looking at to cover and can anyone recommend a good service provider.

I'm looking for life cover including critical cover and if possible back to day one cover.

Any advice is much appreciated

The question is what sort of insurance policies should I be looking at incase of Accident,Sickness & Unemployment.

You should look at accident, sickness and unemployment cover (ASU). Although you should perhaps use a permanent health insurance is priority or in conjunction with one of those.

Life assurance should be a higher priority than income protection and for that you will probably find a combination of decreasing term assurance (For the mortgage) and level term assurance and/or family income benefit for family protection is required.
can anyone recommend a good service provider.

There is no one best provider. Each provider offers differences over another and depending on what you are willing to pay and what you want covered as well as your underwriting circumstances, the providers coming out best for you needs will be different to someone else.
