Cheap Flight to spain in May

Myself and 2 friends are hoping to get away in May(16th-19th),i have looked at accomodation in Benidorm and Gran Canaria through Travel republic,i am having real trouble finding cheap flights,we can travel from any North East,Pref Leeds bradford, Doncaster etc.
Please help!!!

I've just booked flights to Madrid from Birmingham for £0 each way in May direct from the bmi website.

No, it's not a typo.... the flights were £zero

For what you can save it may be worth the extra travelling time or even one night in a cheap hotel to fly from Bham???

Great , except for one thing. Madrid is nowhere near Benidorm.

It was just a thought, as the OP didn't specify it HAD to be Benidorm or Grand Canaria, and the title of the thread was cheap flights to SPAIN in may. It also didn't specify if they had booked accommodation therefore their destination seemed still open. Therefore, my point was to look at other areas of Spain. :rolleyes:
