New Tesco promotions

i_wanna_save_money!

I found two of the leaflets in a trolley at tesco oldham yesterday and went in and asked at CS where i could find these leaflets with the coupons and she gave me one from behind the counter ( they had loads left). However, once i got to the till i was told i could only purchase one of each product. It's ok cos i have sent OH out today to use the coupons

St Helens had a big pile of Persil just inside the main doors and no restriction on how many you can buy. Only problem is they have no leaflets and the checkout girl asked OH "Where did you get them, coz I could do with getting some washing powder"

I have been into 4 x tesco's around london over the past 2 weeks since reading this thread and had none in any of them. Do you think if you wirte to head office they will do anything about it?

I think my local T is trying to pull a fast one.First week of promo,plenty leaflets but no persil,second week plenty persil but no leaflets.

Thanks Ben...at the risk of being shot down...I had over 600 of these(and 400 of the previous Pepsi ones)...and at least 280 of them went to people posting on this thread, and some more to the HandB thread as well...I've got loads of Persil...enough until I die......and next to my Plax lake, My garlic Mountain, Coke Plus river, Pepsi reservoir, and now Persil glacier...i hope my loft can stand the weight........not even mentioned the majority of HB.......

Been fishing today...Some excellent Couponing as well....Got 54 Persil in 3 swoops for my pals.(6 limit manager said...took that to mean 6 of each flavour(bio, non, and colour)...and it worked)....fisher pals couldnt believe it.....but then you should have seen them get the Robinsons.....

Still got a few left...possibly give them out in store tomorrow......or be tempted to use them....although under strict orders to bring no more home...

Didnt get any for myself today...just helped a mate or four.....

In a word......No.......they have been put out in areas to specifically draw people into Tescos in that area......the stores that dont have them, don't need the added advertising....

Both leaflets(as far as i can see) went to the same stores.....

According to an earlier post on another thread, there is still Persil in your area...Gateshead and South Shields were mentioned by coupon_king................
