I already posted this on another board, but then thought maybe this site would be more relevant so hopefully I wont get bopped!
Have noticed that
https://www.thegumtree.co.uk (London based forum)
advertises alot of virtually free furniture that people are trying to get rid of because they dont want to pay removal costs.
Just thought this might be useful for any students moving into new houses this year (we all know the term 'furnished' accommodation is quite a flexible definition!)
Make sure you follow their security advice though regarding payment etc.

I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
