Someone else(?) posted a similar floor plan only recently and wanted to move their toilet or re-arrange the first floor. My guess then and now is that this house is a terraced house built at least 90 years ago, Therefore it did not have an inside toilet or bathroom when designed and built, and the reason the toilet is where it is, is because that's the easiest place to put it to connect it to the drains. I'd also guess that the soil stack (the drain from the toilet) goes down the outside wall in the internal corner between the kitchen and the utility room.
It is likely to be difficult to move the toilet into the bathroom area because of the pipework requirements. It may be possible. The alternative requires a complete re-think and re-design of the first floor rear. Bedroom 3 becomes a bathroom, bedroom 2 gains some of the toilet/corridor area but gives some up to make the existing bathroom into bedroom 3. Problem then is bedroom 3 has no natural light without clerestory windows in the wall to bedrooms 2 and 1 or a Velux. Structural work is likely to be necessary for "juggling" the walls about, too. All versions of this solution will cost £,000s

the only other solution I see is moving the toilet into part of bedroom 3 (next to the stairs). Thereby doing away with some of the hallway aspect. Bedroom 3 becomes more square but still not massive. 7' square at a guess? A decent amount of work running a soil pipe there but not as bad as moving to the bathroom area I guess. Alot less structural work.
