Ner around Huddersfield theres loads of stuff you can do! Why go out further?!
Just go to old manchester road just off salendine nook keep driving on that road dont turn off and get up on the moors just after scammonden dam lovely views, little eatting pub place, helicopter rides, great walks!
Orr maybe go exploring around huddersfield in woods etc theres loads of ruins of old houses and mansions around the honley, kirkburton way! Of course the old insane asylum in storthes hall! spoooky..

How about Castleton in the Peak District, it has a castle, nice pubs and teashops, and a number of caverns that are open to the public. Then there is Buxton, which on a summers day is lovely in the Park and Pavillion Gardens.0
