Lead Flashing Above Bay Window

We have a ground floor bay window on the front of our house which has lead flashing above it which is supposed to protect the wood around the top of the window. It is all split and clearly letting the water through. I don't think it can be patched up - probably needs to be replaced. The flashing goes up behind the rendering on the front of the house above the window.
My question is who would I get to do a job like this and how much can I expect to pay?
Should I contact a window fitter/builder/other?
Thanks

You want a roofer, in my humble opinion. They know all about lead flashings.0

My instinct would be to talk to a roofer as sallyrsm.0

Or a plumber, plumb=lead:T
You should be able to replace it without damageing the rendering, providing it is not split all the way upto the bead-top. Make sure it is not patched and code 3 lead is used.

Unfortunately he no longer posts on there. I don't know how you'd find someone without contacting lots of builders/roofers until you got someone who could demonstrate the skills required.
(and I think it should be code 5  have read of this: http://www.leadsheetassociation.org.uk/html/1427.html )A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
