Mint card - how long before I'm considered a new customer again?

Hi all, I closed my MINT card about 6 months ago and now need a new 0% deal. If I applied for the MINT card would I be considered a new customer and therefore get a new customer deal or would I have to wait a year or something? Many thanks.

Well, I've been told twice in recent months, (on cancelling my Mint and Ulster Bank cards) that the Royal Bank of Scotland stable (which includes Mint, NatWest, Tesco & Ulster Bank, as well as RBS itself), will not consider applications from former cardholders in the 8 months following closure of any RBS card.
That said, things change over time. Why not give Mint a call and let us know what they
say?

I have had 3 Mint cards over the years and they have always stated that it is 8 months.Author of the first Stoozing FAQ on the Internet and Creator of the SOA & Snowball calculators at Lemonfool.co.uk0
