Extending straps for Quinny Buzz 2007 pushchair

Anyone who owns this pushchair may notice the straps are short and wondering how on earth your baby will fit till the recommended age.

I just called Dorel UK and they are sending me some extending straps out to solve the problem Free of charge. :Dthey only fit 2007 model not the older Buzz.

NOTE: Please dont order just for the sake of getting something for free they are of no use to you! Also if you dont own a buggy its not fair on mum's who genuinely need them.

Thankyou so much for this I have emailed them cos i can't get through on the phone right now so hopefully that will work too. I have the 2007 buzz too and am so dissapointed with it ie staps so tight and i purchased the cozy toe thingy too and it just doesn't fit the buggy because the straps don't seperate into 4 parts like most buggys. I've emailed them about this too so lets see how I get on!

Again thanks for reminding me to complain when things genuinely are not right!

  • thanks for this... unfortunately i bought mine at the end of 06 when my little boy was born. at just over a year and underweight for the charts he is already too big to go in the pushchair with the £40 cosytoes i also bought in it  not a happy mummy here

i hope they can do something for me too as the whole set cost over £500!! what a waste of money if you can only use it for the first year

    thanks for the info...

What's this? I've not had to use the actual pushchair & cosytoes yet as my little one is only 7 weeks old. I'll be really annoyed if it's cost all that money & then it doesn't fit properly! Thanks for the warning.
I think they are lovely looking pushchairs but I have to admit they are not always that practica. Especially when I had a c section & then had to have someone collapse it for me when I went out...nightmare
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

    The cosytoes fits fine. ;)

Up the top of the straps under the padding tucked right up close to the seam are poppers, this is where you unpop the straps (it took me a while to work out though as they are hidden). You will also see the straps seperate here, this is how the cosytoes fits into the seat and you will also be able to add the extenders to those bits.

It will make sense when you look at your Buzz. :D

I agree they are a bit of a mare to put down after a c section, and I'd imagine if you were pregnant it would be difficult! I suppose its one of the downsides of having a nice looking buggy.
  • Thanks for this - I was getting stressed by the straps too!!
Phoned Dorel uK on Mondy and the straps were here on Wednesday.

The Grab It board is for short-term deals only, I've moved this to the 5 Star Service Board for you.
