Insurance for tenants...

Can anyone recommend insurance companies where I can get insurance for the contents of the room that I rent in a flat please? I am not after anything to do with the building, I don't even have furniture, just things like DVDs, TV, laptop etc.

Googe "insurance tenants".
What you own doesn't matter - it's the total value of your possessions, although you may have to accept a minimum sum insured.
You say you don't want anything to do with the building, but a tenant's policy will cover you for if you're responsible for damage to the building fabric - but check the policy carefully, to see what's included and what's not.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
