recycling green wheelie bin issues any advice?

Apparently some councils are thinking of putting locks on recycling bins because of this. I had mine out the other day. Luckily I nipped out to the pavement to put something else in it, because some passer by had put their chip wrappers and tray in it GRRRRRRR!!!

Fay, our brown bins don't get collected in Dec, Jan or Feb either - and yet I have to cut my lawn all year round due to the mild weather - and I can't put it all on the compost heap.

I must be lucky!

mine was not collected one day and they were round within hours (i even e-mailed them, rather than phoning)

today, I put two black bins of rubbish ( we are supposed to have 1 bin I don't know how I have ended up with two, no one has complained yet!). After this was collected I took one of the black bins in and filled it with green rubbish as I have had the time to do some gardening and had 3+ green bins of rubbish this week, and even though it was a black bin they took that.

However, one of my green recycling bags (paper) has disappeared.

Only problem with my council is that it is taking over 4 weeks for them to collect a broke fridge freezer. but if that is all I have to complain about, it looks as if I am rather lucky.
