Has to be a catch here: "smile invest funds supermarket are offering twenty five big ones to anyone that re-registers their eligible funds (PEPs, ISAs and UT/OIECs) by 26th August 2005.
But twenty five quid for free isn't the only good thing. Your funds will all be in one place, making your life easier. But don't worry your money stays in the same funds, managed by the same companies. And because it's not a transfer your investments never come off the market, so you don't even miss out on any profit making opportunities."
Anyone tried this yet? By re-register do you suppose you just re-register your present account (mines a mini cash ISA) - by doing this do you get roped into something else??

I think Fidelity (FundsNetwork) are offering £50 to switch - if memory serves me right (haven't checked).
Re-Registered my individual ISA's & Pep's to Fidelity a number of years ok, no problems, and you can transfer most of them online from the website.
If you are thinking of re-registering and utilising a funds supermarket then you may want to ignore the up front offer of cash and consider if it is better for you (depending on your situation) to go with a discount broker, or similar.
For the wife's Isa's we went with COfunds (supermarket) via BestInvest.
