Homebase supply and fit kitchen quote

I have had a quote from Homebase to Supply and Fit and Verona oak contemporary kitchen (excluding appliances). The kitchen is fairly big (3.38 X 2.69) and has 5 base units, one pull out larder unit with wire mesh, 7 cupboard units, as well as the doors for a built in washing mach, dishwasher, and fridge freezer. It also has a everest gloss black worktop.
They have quoted me £3390 for kitchen and £3357 for installation - seems excessive considering i then have to pay around £1600 for appliances aswell.
any ideas/thoughts on this?
i'm a FTB so be gentle with me

Get a quote from a local Kitchen fitter / Builder / Handyman for the installation, my guess is the labour will be alot less than the £3357 that you have been quoted, I'd guess c.£1500.BSC No. 2540
