Savings account or ISA?

Options
I have £40,000 to invest for a few months until I buy another house. What's the best way to invest this for a short time? I have it in an Alliance & Leicester plus saver account at the moment. I was going to open up a West Brom BS savings account but I've just read about no notice ISA's.

Too be honest I'm tired and nothing I'm reading is sinking in at the moment so what should I do with it for a few months?

Thanks in advance?

I got 6.71% on £30K in a 3 month bond with HBOS, it matured in January just intime for my tax bill to get paid :) Made me £ 405.91.
