i tried to pay £3.20 for something earlier that i won on ebay and paypal refused my card twice even though i have over £500 in there as i went to the cashpoint this morning and looked at my balance.
when i tried again it then said the payment had already been sent but my paypal acct shows nothing leaving.
ive emailed the seller to inform of the problem and sai id try again tomorrow.
its a visa electron card and ive not had problems before using it. is it because the card expires on 03/08?

what was the reason given for refusal?
i've had my credit card refused twice on paypal recently but not by paypal, it was actually the card company not allowing the card to go through until they'd carried out a security check.
found out it was becuase of all the fraud on paypal these days so they wanted to make sure it was me who was using it and not unauthorised0 -
ive had a few customers informing me of something similar, trying to pay but paypal not accepting it.
ive read elsewhere on this forum though that paypal have been "tinkering" again recently....work permit granted!0 -
