    I watched a programme a few years ago about Interflora being as big a bully ot independant florists as Super markets are to farmers etc. charging them exorbitant rates to be members. Wouldnt touch them with a barge pole now.

    Other than that, find a florist near where your sending them to, pay with a card over the phone and very often they will deliver them free and you keep the little locat florist in business.
