  • Oh c'mon does anyone ever fall for such crap adverts?

10% off this 30% off that 60% off the other. It's all a load of meaningless garbage without saying what the 100% price is.

If your gonna spam the board at least have some substance in your post.

Excuse me for trying to give some helpful information. I did a quote and it worked out £200 cheaper than Nationwide who I currently use.

How can they give a 100% price? Every quote will be different to the consumers requirements.

Jesus some people have really got too much time on their hands!

Reading through some of your previous posts you seem to be someone who thinks they know it all and completly set in your ways. I suggest you get off your high horse and try and keep the blood pressure steady ;)

When they bung an advet on tv compairing a given example to their competitors then it has some substance but 50% off x means naff all.

Well having woked in the insurance industy for 20 odd years your knowledge of it does tend to be a bit better than those outside it. Never claimed to know it all though and if you read some more of my posts you'll find a few where I admit to not being up to date as my nick also implies.

click click , c'mon Bess, lets wonder into town the docs got some tablets for me blood I apparently need.

Well at least you can use multiquote.
  • BTW did you try Churchill via Quidco?

Did my old mans through them day before yesterday £60 cheaper than his £299 Norwich Union renewal and a £100 cashback.

Yes I did try Churchill. The quote was good but was bumped up considerably when adding the extras I wanted and reducing the excess.

Tesco hadn't really been competitive in previous years for me but was really surprised with the quote this time hence the post.

Ah but did you look at Quidco first. The deal they have setup means going via them to Chuchill there's a £100 cashback to come from the final price.

Lol yeah I realise that NOW! :D

I'll do another quote to check Churchill. It's £70 cashback for home insurance. See I told you, you think you know everything :D

    Thanks for the tip
  • Oh yeah, It was me dads car insurance I sorted the other night. Did his contents in January as it happens also with Churchill but before I'd heard of Quidco.

Told you I'm out of touch ;)
