Can anyone help with a Kenwood question?

Options
Hi everyone I hope you are having a good weekend.

At the third attempt I have 'won' a Kenwood Exel 902/904 model off Freecycle. I have given it a really good clean (needed it!!!) and the motor is working. BUT, there are loads of attachments and no manual/instructions.

Also, wondering if there is a mincer/sausage maker attachment that would fit this model?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as all the bits are lying on the table looking at me and the peeps are moaning that I haven't started tea!

Thank you Squeaky, had a look but couldn't see this model though. I will phone the nearest engineer this week I think.

  • I got given a fully-operational Kenwood Chef which turns out to be older than I am (and I'm 40!). It came with all the 'bits' but no instruction manual so I googled the company, rang them and they very kindly sent me out a photocopied manual, complete with recipes. They also logged my model as they apparently like to keep a record of 'vintage' models still in use. :D

If I'm ever invited on to Desert Island Discs, I think I'll ask for a solar-powered Kenwood Chef as my luxury item! ;)

You obviously find it really useful then Jillinoz! I do everything by hand at the moment but I wanted a machine with a mincer/sausage making function, and a grain mill. I will have to do what you did and phone them up.

I couldn't believe how heavy it is! Made in Britain too! There are so many attachments and 'bits' (even 2 dough hooks) that I am a bit stuck.

What do you use yours for?
