I always do this!!! The children love them when we have a 'junk' dinner its just like when we are out!0

We have a good sized tupperware box full of various condiments, collected mostly from wetherspoons
Always handy as we don't buy big pots of things like mayonnaise, mustard etc. My FIL is worse than me, he has a massive stash of things from mustard to jam!

I have a glass vase in the kitchen full......colourful addition to the kitchen! We managed to bring home a lot from disneyland, they have the logo on so a nice momento at meal times. We always had a jar full at home when i was younger.0

Obviously not Mariel. Works the other way round too, I have used the fabric waxing strips for card making.... rubber stamp image onto fabric and water colour image! Mount and send! Guess this message should be in the multi- use thread!Hehe, I thought it was just me that used the stirrers for waxing![SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. I "womble" unused sachets of tomato and brown sauce for holidays, etc., but only the Heinz and HP ones respectively! I also "liberate" those sachets of coffee, but again only the Nescafé ones. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Me too, I'm dreadful for this. I work away a lot so often have to stay over (paid for by work). Those little packets of tea, coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate etc that live in the hotel rooms always find their way home with me.I find the tea useful - neither of us drink it so we never have it at home, but I sometimes like to make teabread so the odd few I collect along the way always get used. Don't eat fast food often but I do often take home any sachets I'm given if we do, great for lunch boxes - mayo in a sandwich is only edible if it goes on three seconds before you eat it.

I've always got KFC wipes in my bag and they come in so handy.
I also have a mini tin from ikea (they were a 3 pack of different sized ones with lids) tin for mint sauce and horseradish etc at home cos I don't buy these as we don't use often enough. Came in handy when my visitors were looking for brown sauce for their bacon sarnie as I'd never buy as we don't use it.
Keep rotating though as most of these sachets don't have exp dates on them
EDIT - I also "nick" the teas coffees and sugars from hotels on work trips so I rarely buy any of these for when I'm in the office. Saves loads too....Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
How long does the sauce keep? I've got a vision of opening one much later and finding it's really off." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
