Everyone, well almost everyone must at some point in their life experienced the " delights " of either McDonalds or Burger King. Next time you delve into the bag for your burger or whatever just count how many sachets of salt, ketchup etc they dump in the bag, theres loads. Yet what normally happens when we finish our " meal " we gather all the paper etc and throw it in the brown bag it all came from then lob it into the bin............along with a half dozen or so unused salt, ketchup and other condiments.
Now i am not advocating to anyone that you activley source and collect handfulls of condiments but i normally take home my unused ones and grab an extra few for good luck. I cannot recall buying tissues for some time as these places seem to hand them out like toffees and as for plastic straws, well enough said.

.....always finish up in MY handbag :rotfl: . But just beware of them being at the bottom of your bag - they make a horrible mess if you throw something heavy/sharp into your bag afterwards  ! Always keep the salt/pepper/sugar sachets as well - come in very handy for picnics. Mrs Wast not, want not - that's me!0 -
I collect them for my sister who lives on her own and works full time.. there is just enough for one serving and she doesn't use many.. she has never had to buy sugar thanks to my mother and I.
the ketchup and mayo makes a horrendous mess in your bag if popped!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

What a great idea never thought of using the wooden forks for something and usually think they are very wasteful!0 -
I always grab a handful. I have a plastic box full of them and they live in my caravan. Very handy to have.0

the wooden stirrers make good applicators for small areas of waxing LOL! We were told we could split the full size spatulas, but they have rough corners when you do that!
Trouble is, these days being OS and MSE I don't have coffee out very much."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
