Temporary balance transfer question

I need to move about £700 for a month, am I right in thinking I can bt to my Nationwide CC for 56 days without incurring interest.

I will be starting up my stoozing again soon as we are not moving now but as we have just applied for a remortgage I don't want to rock the boat by applying for any cards for a few weeks, plus we go on vacation in one week and are away for just over three weeks. Our application for the remortgage was made online last week and the application has been accepted, not sure if this means we have been credit checked yet though, also payments have been taken from our card for application. Does anyone know whether the credit check will have been carried out yet and so free me up to start applying.

Also can anyone see any problem with my transferring a (on a new card) balance to my egg cc thereby putting account in credit for onward transfer to current account and onto savings.
£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz

    http://www.nationwide.co.uk/creditcard/whats_on_offer/classic-card/summary.htm :
    Interest free period
Maximum 56 days for purchases if you pay your balance in full and on time. There is no interest free period for cash advances or balance transfers. Interest on cash advances and balance transfers will be charged at the rates shown above.

No, that bit works all the time still, fortunately.

NW can't be used for interest-free balance transfers now unfortunately. But it still has one USP in being able to BT as little as £1 - no other card does this.

[If you already have a cahoot credit card it still works with BTs for up to 46 days, but for how much longer? Also, it's not as flexible as NW, requiring a statement/statements and amount of at least £100]

[Liverpool Victoria was another card that still does this with BTs AFAIAA]
