    No...................
Have you been to Ikea Coventry?
    How many times?
And how many times had a need to complain about an issue and therfore met with managers and be in a position to add an informed comment on customer service in Coventry?

well people are worried that your complaint has no substance and are trying to work out whether or not to tell you to not waste your time.
unfortunately not doing so in a very effective manner
Basically Fire = hot, metal conducts heat and if you put that on something that can get damaged by heat...
You appear to have missed the OP response saying the candles were in their holders - also supplied by Ikea.
Of course people have successfully sued mcdonalds for hot coffee and hot apple pies...
Ignoring the Mc D cases in the UK and USA, you appear to want to trivialise the OPs claim before you know the relevant facts.

the management at coventry ikea should have delt with it. But having had prier experiance with the mangement there they are useless. I truly feel ikea coventry only employ management whome have been sacked else where for giving terrible service, its the only way I can explain the patheticly low level of custiomer service in coventry ikea.

Anyone else had terrible service in coventry ikea?

I have shopped at Ikea Coventry at least 6 times since it opened. I have no complaints about customer service, in fact I had excellent service on several occasions when an offer product had just sold out. The member of staff I approached got me the items on display around the store and left them at the checkout for me.
My only complaint about the store is the confusing layout and slow lifts.

Me neither, but I've never shopped there as I live in Kent.

I wouldn't dream of going to Coventry, never mind stopping off at the Ikea there to buy tealights. I reckon my mantlepiece is safe.
