Hi all
Really need some help, My mum has unearthed a Bristol and West B/S Snoopy passbook in my name. Last paid into Oct 1987.
Any ideas how to claim this money? Do I speak to B&W directly? As I think Britannia have now taken over their savings, any help would be appreciated

Bristol & West demutualised in 1996 when it was purchased by the Bank of Ireland and qualifying members received approx £1000 (according to old press release).
I wasn't a member myself but check if account is in your sole name or your mothers name as a trustee. Also calculate your age in 1996, perhaps could have been transferred to an adult account automatically before conversion happened.
