in Credit cards
Hi all,
I have written the letters to my credit cards saying I want my money back, all have offered me the difference between the £12 and the higher charge, but I want the whole amount back!! I was just wondering if anyone could advise re. success at taking things further etc?
Also, I no longer have the credit cards (as I went a bit crazy and now in debt consolidation) and they have offered to put the pitiful amounts onto my card (which is closed). Any advice gratefully accepted!!

You broke the terms of your contract and you don't want to pay any fees? I think you are being a bit unrealistic. The offer you have had is good and should take it.
In future read the T&C's and if you feel they are unfair don't take out the card.0 -
Sufficed to say I will not ever take out a credit card again, they are far too much hassle. However it doesn't change the fact that credit card companies prey on people and I will admit that I was naive with the whole thing. However I don't believe that it costs them £12 each time they charge people. I would happily pay a charge that is representative of the cost to them but I don't believe that £12 is.
If anyone has any useful advice for me instead of trying to make me feel more stupid than I already feel then that would be gratefully received.
