for some unknown reason i cannot open msn explorerr today.
i click on the sign on icon , the butterfly goes into motion, and after about 5/6 attempts , a window opens saayin unable to connect , there may be a problem with our service or your internet connection.
i am really concerned about this as my e-mail is with hotmail and i need to access it.

i am not trying to use msn messenger, just the normal msn i always use for email etc.
its been fine till now.
the only changes i made to my computer was downloading avast, but that was a few days ago.
msn has not been loading since yesterday.
btw the link you have given above, shall i just click and download it?
thanks, you have come to my rescue again
have you any idea how long it should take to download . i do not have broadband.
shall i delete the current msn i have on my computer?Nice to save.0 -
it's 6 meg i'm afraid ...20 mins or so ?? (I've been on broadband so long i can't remember)
just let it over write....
you do realise you can use MSN messenger to do the same thing ??
just log on using your hotmail id and password and collect your emails.....use Internet explorer to surf...save the download time !Ex forum ambassador

you got a pop-up blocker ?? google or yahoo toolbar ?? that may be doing it
other wise look under "Tools" then "Internet options" on Internet Explorer, then click on privacy..
should be on Medium ..try taking it down a notch and see if you can log onEx forum ambassador
