nokia 6230/picture suite

i have just aquired a nokia 6230, i have loaded picture suite on my computer and the dku2 drivers, today my cable arrived that connects my phone to the usb, unfortunately i cannot transfer images e t c, it shows the phone connected, alas i have no instruction book, as the phone was my daughters hand me down, is there something i should be doing to the phone to enable ''data transfer '' also tried sending text message from the nokia software on computer that did not work either, any ideas

I have a 6230. I bought a 8 in 1 card reader/writer from Asda for £14.99. Its a Trust 725 USB2 card reader-writer pro. It supports the media card in your phone so just transfer photos to that then insert in the reader. Fantastically simple to use and you can also transfer photos from your pc to phone. Supports 8 different media cards so doubles up as a data and music transfer device too
