  • One of my fave wedding gifts that I rec'd was a lovely keepsake.
On the day Lisa (a friend from work) turned up with a disposable camera and took natural photos at random moments. She then bought a square pine photo cube (which you can keep little things inside) and she choose 5 of the nicest pics and put them in the cube.

It's one of the only wedding pressies we got that I look at fondly everyday.
The cube was £5 from Asda and the cost of developing the photos. I didn't get the gift on the day, got it after we came back from our hols, but what a lovely thoughtful gift it is.xx

Unless they've asked for champagne glasses then I would avoid them... Otherwise I bet you they will get about 8 pairs and none of them matching to add to the ones they already have more than likely...
Champagne however is a great idea! Tesco have some good offers as do Morrisons at the moment. some nice bottle and some chocs were advertised earlier today on TV - £15 for both and the champers should have been about £25 on its own... Might be making a little trip myself...

I didn't see Tescos advert but I saw Morrisons also advertised this. I saw them in store and they looked lovely. The box was massive.
  • Thanks again guys..... I have just got back from Tesco where I bought some Tattinger Champagne reduced from £28.98 to £18.98..... I bought three, which means I am sorted for the wedding present, plus SiL's fav Champagne is Tatti, so I'm sorted for her Birthday and Christmas too! I love Tesco and I love u guys!

  • i bought my friends a photo album with 25 double page spreads in it - one for every one of their first 25 years of marriage. the idea is that they record what happens to them each year. 7 years, 3 children, 2 houses and a couple of holidays later the album is a fantastic record of married life.

its a twist on an old idea, but the album is reallt loved.
