~Beanie~

I keep seeing people refer to the Old Style Board when advising people on how to cut down their food bills. Where can I find it? I have looked and looked but can't see it
Sorry for posting it on this board but this is where I see people mention it!

I must admit it's not somewhere that I go and look at very often.

They are very friendly on that board, the DFW and OS board are the best boards on MSE, no one judges anyone on those two boards.
I can recommend reading Meal Planning and Tesco Value threads.

Old fashioned? nah...
Old fashioned values - shopping wisely and thriftily and getting your money's worth, not wasting food you've paid for... YES.
..it basically helps you make the most of the money that you have left after you've done all the heavy finance stuff for your bills and credit payments - i.e. how to make the best of what you have left over for housekeeping.

As opposed to some of the other boards who always seem to be arguing over 'who knows best' about something whenever I have a sneaky peak at them!!!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Used an old style tip today to clean the windows using newsprint and vinegar - no smears, no smudges and must be better than some of the chemical stuff I used to buy!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
