I did an online application to a 0% balance transfer card. Heard nothing.
Phone call today from yes finance saying i had been referred?
Do i want a loan? So i went through it, but made it clear i wasnt agreeing to anything
So, 8k over 4 years is 218pm. I asked what apr it was, but she didnt tell me, said it would be in the paperwork?
Over 4yrs thats an extra 2464, does this seem high?
Should i try someone else, or does the fact i have been referred mean im screwed?
Thanks in advance.
Ah thats very dodgy, if you ask for the apr rate and they eitherrefuse to give it you or say its variable, it basically means they dont want you to know as its expensive.
I would avoid yes finance, - for the fact that u have been referred, means you have not met the criteria for the 0% and have been referred to a "sister" company.
But in a way that does mean you necessary have a dodgy rating, bear in mind of the credit crunch, someone who would of got 0% 12 mths ago, applying now they could be turned down.
The best bet is wait until you have all thefacts and figs even if its a month until the statement comes, then snowball and see where you go from there x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
