Hi--Please can you help I maxed out my cash back on the Egg money card and am wanting to close it due to the way they have treated me over the fact they lost some of my money in my savings account. I don't want to lose the £200 cash back and want to know when I will get the cash back paid. I have tried reading previous threads and ended up confused as they seemed to say between Feb and April. Please help as I have just got the new Halifax Card and want to close my Egg accounts. My last statement was on 1st Feb
Thanks in advance

According to the Egg website:
RegardsCash back (on Egg Money) is paid annually during March, as long as your total cash back total earned over the year is more than £5. You'll earn cash back up to a maximum amount of £200 in each 12 month statement period commencing with the March statement each year up to and including the February statement the following year.

Past two cash backs I received were on 30/3/06 and 6/3/07.
Statement date is 18th, payment date is the 6th.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
Mine was paid 6th March last year but I think it could be ANY time in March.
It shoudl include Februarys statement but not March i.e. the cut-off point will be your statement date.0 -
Again, 6th March 07 for me.0

The cashback total is shown on your February statement (whichever date in February it might be generated on) and is credited back to your account when you March statement is produced (again, whenever that might be in March). For me, it was shown on my Feb statement produced on 2nd and will appear on my March statement when it's produced on 2nd March. From the Feb statement onwards you are earning your 'new year's' cashback so when the March one is produced it will show the amount earned in Feb only.0

That's not been my experience.CopperPlate wrote: »The cashback total...is credited back to your account when you March statement is produced (again, whenever that might be in March).
My cashback was paid nearly two weeks before my March statement date last year.
And the year before it was paid a full two weeks after my March statement date.0 -
Nor mine - see post #3YB wrote:

Ah, well. I suppose that's the theory anyway...practice is always very different
