On-line paying (Amazon) survey for students

Opinionpanel Research have teamed up with Amazon to offer free gift certificates in return for the completion of short web-surveys - just for students. You get £10.00 just for registering and a further £1.00 to £2.00 per survey thereafter. Once you've reached £25, you receive your Amazon gift certificates by email. As I'm not a student I haven't tried it - but a friend has registered and has had a couple of surveys fairly shortly afterwards.
To qualify you must have a valid email address issued by your university (i.e., ending in ac.uk). The certificates continue to roll-in after you've graduated, as you are automatically transferred to the Graduate Panel when you finish your studies.:D

I think that you need to have a " .ac.uk " email address for this

these surveys have been around for a good few years, and the company have a terrible reputation.

of the people i know who have signed up, the vast majority (myself included) gave up on filling in the surveys after realising that we were never going to reach that elusive £25 payout level.

if you want to make money via internet surveys there are a variety of companies that there are reward you fairly for your time. this in my experience is not one of them

  • I have been a member of this since I started uni (3 yrs ago) and I have yet to reach £25  I dont seem to get many surveys through from them but maybe this is just me?
  • I signed up not long ago, didn't get £10.00 for registering at all and I don't recall doing any surveys.

I reached £25 on Monday, but I can't figure out how to claim my voucher
  • How will I receive my Amazon vouchers when I have earned £25 - worth?

In the form of an electronic certificate sent to your university (ac.uk) and alternative email address. It will contain a special code that you enter when placing your order with Amazon.co.uk. Full instructions will be provided on how to use it. If the gift certificate exceeds the cost of your order you will be given credits for future orders.

From the website Q&A, check your ac.uk email account to see if you have automatically been sent a code for Amazon.
