Free Passports for over 75's

Thought that I would post a link here to a thread on the Travel Board re Free Passports for the over 75's. (some of you may not be regulars on the Travel Board and may otherwise miss this)

Passport Fee is also refundable on a limited backdated basis - for those who qualify that got a passport in the last few months.

This is simply not true!!!
It should be entitled free for "over 80's" NOT over 75's.
The deadline is 2nd Sept 1929 so a person of 75, 76, 77, 78, 79 and some 80 year olds (WHICH INCLUDE MY MOTHER!) are not eligible!

It needs re-adressing as it is very misleading!:(

Denise - you've dug this up from six years ago; it's even possible it may have been correct then, but if you take a good proportion of posts on these boards, by the time six years have elapsed, a great deal of the information will be out of date by its very nature. Please don't start looking amongst the savings threads will you, otherwise you'll have your work cut out correcting everything.
