Frankie & Bennys

Hey guys!

I am looking to go to Frankie & Bennys next week for my birthday meal - ju st wondered if anyone else has eaten in these restaurants and if so what are they like foodwise, pricewise and do you have to book?

Cheers :D

I've been a few times, to two different branches, and TBH I didn't think that the food was good quality, flavoursome or worth the money, the service was also pretty lacking, IMHO

They do do quite a reasonable lunch deal though, but thinking about it, I wouldn't go again.

However, maybe I'm just picky (although my city has a restaurant review site that customers put all their ratings on, and it only scored 35%, so perhaps it's not just me)?

I hope you have a great time, wherever you go

    Happy Birthday!

I've been to two - the one down the bottom of Wind Street in Swansea where a big gang of us went for a friend's 40th birthday and we had a great time - food was good and the staff were great. We then went to the one by the Liberty Stadium at Morfa and the food was a bit ropey and the service wasn't much better.

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

went to Cardiff bay one last sat for my bday

was ok,the food portions are big !! and not bad tasting overall

    have had worse and better

service was pretty good and atmosphere too

    quite small though !!

we didnt bother booking, and only had about 25 min wait which was good for a sat night IMO!

much preferred the one in Swansea ,or was that just because i was paid to eat there?!!! food tastes so much nicer when its free lol
  • popular place for birthdays, last couple of times I've been I must have heard Cliff Richard's "congratulations" about 2 dozen times, as they brought out a little bit of a cake for every birthday boy or girl - blimmin annoying actually, I refuse to go there now (unless it's MY birthday of course :D)

Food usually pretty good, not outstanding but then it's average prices.
