    Just been reading on the BBC website that Rowan Williams has been described as 'one of the finest minds of this nation'

    Interesting.

    As an atheist I find it incredible that someone who believes in an invisible entity that's existence cannot be proven (or indeed disproved) can be described as a fine mind...

    Yet if I say that I see fairies at the bottom of the garden I'm a loon?

    It depends what you mean by "fine". A fine wire is one so slender, it can hardly be seen.
