Boiler Insurance & Switching

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation....

I am about to switch gas and electricity suppliers for the first time. The comparison sites are showing Atlantic to be the cheapest....however our landlords have boiler insurance through British Gas who is our current supplier for gas so would the boiler insurance still be valid if we switched to another company.......?

Thanks in advance

Good evening: Check your tenancy agreement...there could be a clause which requires the tenant to retain the original suppliers.

The boiler contract is completely separate from the supply, so changing suppliers does not invalidate the boiler insurance.
