Hmmmm ok I've just checked quidco and I have £77.40 validated which should be paying out at the end of the month/beginning March so that would cover the phone bill overspend ...Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -

Maybe now would be a good time to just allow a little something each month for guilt-free spends ...
good idea
perhaps you can make time for at least one pamper day each month?
eg find some freebie treats on the freebie site and put them in a box so you can pamper yourself one day.
find a lovely dessert recipe on the oldstyle forum and have it after your meal.
Is there anywhere where you live where you can wander around free local attractions eg beach, park, exhibitions etc maybe check your local newspaper or google for suggstions
eg enroll at filmfirst etc and see if you can claim free cinema tickets and go and see a film one day/night.
Combine that with the treat you're going to budget for and have a really self indulgent day.:money:

I'd love a pamper day ... but with 3 children to look after I very rarely get time for a cuppa in peace let alone a day of indulgent pampering! I will think of something for a treat though. We live at the seaside and there are plenty of free things to do, which with it being half term this week is a handy thing as I won't have cash to take the kids anywhere expensive.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Chuckles, I'm not sure my husband and children would want to uproot and move hundreds of miles away for me to be nearer my friends ... I just need to cut back on texts and use MSN to talk to my friends instead!Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Can't you get the children to scrub the floors whilst you pamper yourself?
